About the Author

Alexandru Czimbor is an acclaimed author originally from Transylvania, Romania, where he experienced the challenges of life under Nicolae Ceaușescu’s communist regime. Since moving to the United States in 2001, he has embraced a transatlantic lifestyle, spending his summers in Europe to stay connected with his roots. Alexandru’s career is marked by a rich blend of experiences, including teaching at a Romanian university, succeeding in the software industry, and serving in executive positions since 2011. He holds a master’s degree in computer science, having studied at UTCN Cluj-Napoca and ETH Zurich. Outside of his professional life, Alexandru is dedicated to mentoring his son, enjoys playing the guitar, is an avid reader, and is a passionate listener of podcasts. His earlier work, The Soul Machines, earned the BREW Seal of Excellence, as well as the BREW Fiction Book Excellence Award for 2023 Historical European Fiction of the Year.
