A board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Dorsey holds certifications from the National Board of Medical Examiners (1970), the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (1975), and the American Board of Forensic Medicine (1998). His expertise extends across a wide range of orthopaedic specialties, including:

Beyond sports medicine, Dr. Dorsey has made significant contributions to forensic medicine and medico-legal evaluations. He is a certified Agreed Medical Examiner (AME), Medical Examiner (ME), and Qualified Medical Examiner (QME), with extensive experience in orthopaedic evaluations and expert testimony. 40% of his practice is dedicated to consultation services, making him a trusted authority in medical-legal cases.
